Certainly many want a successful country with good ratings on the world stage. Improving our status among Asean and into a good international presence.

Certainly no breakup between the three countries which combine to form Malaysia. But a strong United Malaysia given the fair distribution of voting seats and wealth.

No old corrupt MPs anymore. Time to vote for the honest and educated people who can and will get us to the front of the world stage.

Buang orang korup. Throw out the corrupt people. Make this your battle cry and ensure you are not complicit with those whom you know have received bribes and not done their work for our nation.

Voters must be double careful as candidates will dabble in lies.  They spin all sorts only to trap you into voting for them. Once in they will steal both from government coffers as well as from contracts plus money meant for the poor. No conscience is the (mantra?) of many old-timers.

Our nation can grow in both commerce and governance. Only you and I must ensure we vote for new people. Our duty is towards our country. Let's be straightforward and no longer tied to old stories. Be brave. New sunshine. New day.

Don't we require six new hospitals fully equipped with trained staff and experienced doctors? And an improved educational system with qualified and dedicated teachers? No teachers should run tuition classes to augment their income.

We must have honest and better welfare officers to organise the department. No hanky panky with welfare handouts, please. This goes to those in the religious offices responsible for the distribution of zakat and fitrah.

With the wealth that our natural resources bring in there cannot be any poverty in our land.

Time for the highest standards of education in our schools and universities. Only properly educated teachers and professors will be employed. They must come from well-known institutions of higher learning who do not just dole out their PhD in more than 20 each year. Those who process hundreds each time will be reexamined by external academics of world class in order for our standards to once again be established as acceptable.

Our veterans will be housed in colonies or enclaves. I saw in the then USSR the colony where officers and soldiers were housed comfortably and fed plus provided the most up-to-date medical care.

All religions will be given their due attention and respect. False teachers must be weeded and only highly qualified will be allowed to preach correctly in full obedience to the texts.

All monies collected from taxes and other sources are to be accounted for fully and used wisely by our officers. No wastage shall be allowed. Strict supervision by seniors and accountability by each will be the order of the day.

That is our prayer for the coming government after GE15. Let us hope all our new cabinet and officials will be both anti-corrupt and ready to perform to their best ability.
