COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 1,291 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday.
Active cases currently stood at 21,863, down 11.5 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Kuala Lumpur (318)
Sabah (94)
Perak (85)
Kedah (62)
Penang (53)
Kelantan (49)
Sarawak (49)
Negeri Sembilan (42)
Johor (40)
Malacca (36)
Pahang (18)
Terengganu (13)
Perlis (1)
Labuan (1)
Putrajaya (1)
Another three deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday - two in Perak and one in Johor.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,406 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There have been 32 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 158 deaths last month and 247 deaths in August.
There are 920 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 46 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Sabah (59) followed by Selangor (53) and Johor (46). - Mkini
