COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 2,136 new Covid-19 cases yesterday.
Active cases stood at 27,233, up 19.4 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Sabah (115)
Kedah (93)
Negeri Sembilan (82)
Kelantan (70)
Sarawak (63)
Malacca (62)
Penang (56)
Johor (52)
Pahang (42)
Putrajaya (40)

Perlis (5)
Labuan (4)
Another six deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which three were declared as "brought in dead".
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,458 deaths have been attributed to the disease.
There have been 84 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 158 last month and 247 in August.
There are 1,125 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 48 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (98) followed by Sabah (75) and Johor (46). - Mkini
