Friday Notes From The Quran (21/10/2022) So What Happens If You Do Use Force Or Power?

Surah 72:21  Say: “Surely it is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path.”

Qul innee - Say, surely I

laa  amliku - (do) not possess power

lakum darran - for harming you

walaa rashadan - and neither (to the) right path

Please bear in mind that these words were first spoken to us by the Rasul or Messenger. 

Here is a question : what if indeed you went ahead and did exactly the opposite?

What if you walk around saying : Surely it is in my power to cause you harm, and to bring you to the Right Path ?

Will you cause peace and harmony with your neighbours, friends and family? 

Or will you cause unhappiness, hatreds and ultimately violence?
