KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has dismissed Datuk Seri Najib Razak's application to attend parliament and have access to his officers in order to serve his constituents in Pekan, Pahang.
Judge Datuk Ahmad Kamal Md Shahid said parliament had already been dissolved and Najib's bid should be denied.
"There is no more Parliament for him to attend.
"It is clear that with the dissolution of Parliament, its term has ended. Najib is no longer the MP for Pekan," he said.
Najib had filed the application on Oct 5 to attend Dewan Rakyat sittings which had been scheduled from Oct 3 to Nov 29. - NST
