Tawfik Tun Dr Ismail, Siti Kassim and me. Both Tawfik and Siti are running for Parliament. We should really have both of them in Parliamnt.

 

Folks,  Tawfik Tun Dr Ismail is running against Zahid Hamidi in GE15. Here is a short message from Tawfik.

RAKYAT VS RASUAH

Dear Malaysian Patriots

As I announced last week, I am offering myself in this coming General Elections as Calon Rakyat- The Peoples’ Candidate-to fight corrupt leaders from holding public office. I am specifically targetting the leader of the largest Malay party because he currently faces corruption and breach of trust charges and must not be allowed to discharge himself if his party wins and forms the next government. The objective is clear, and Malaysians must rally behind me if they wish to uphold Maruah Malaysia-Malaysian Dignity.

I am my father’s legacy and I promise to bring back the Tun Dr Ismail qualities of Honesty, Fairness, Commonsense and Respect for our Constitution and our Diversity. I will work hard to restore our National Moral Compass.

Every 5 years Malaysians are given the opportunity to exercise their rights as good citizens to mould the nation the way we desire it to be, so vote according to your conscience and good sense. I urge you to vote for upright and clean candidates and rely not on the parties that field them. These parties have failed us.

I humbly ask for your assistance in achieving my goals and I truly believe they are your goals too, by donating to my election campaign. My Comments : Folks, first things first. A political campaign will cost money. Whoever would like to, please make a contribution to Tawfik Tun Dr Ismail's campaign fund.

Mansoor Bin Saat who is handling the donations is a lawyer and has been a friend of mine for about 28 years.  

We need to support candidates like Tawfik Tun Ismail for his ideas and policy views. If you read this blog we are of the same wavelength. Anti corruption, we need to mobilise all Malaysians regardless of race or religion to move our society forward, improve our education system and just stop being silly.

So do pass the word around. Support  our "Calon Rakyat - The Peoples’ Candidate" Tawfik Tun Dr Ismail who is standing against the president of the UMNO party.
