EVERY great achievement starts from a small step. In other words, the greatest good in this world is perpetuated by the simple acts of kindness, from anyone and everyone.
The flooding that has been inundating so many places in Malaysia has made so many people homeless. But every curse comes with a blessing for it is in this time of hardship where heroes are created.
Take it from this video post on TikTok by netizen izzokayyy which showed two Grab riders cleaning up a clogged drain in the middle of the rain.

It wasn’t their job or responsibility, but kindness compels them to brave the cold and wet so others may live in comfort. The video has since received over 424 comments and 1,263 shares.
Netizens by the droves applauded their action, while some even hurled contempt towards the municipal council who were supposed to be doing the clean up.

Even Grab Malaysia took the opportunity and came into the comment section to praise them.

“The municipal council only knows how to give fines to the car that doesn’t pay their parking,” said L while Nero said they were having fun sitting in the air conditioning. “Just a bit of rain and they don’t want to do their work outside. Thank you rider brother,” Nero added.
Then there was netizen TERPALING MARAH pointing out that such work is usually done by the public. It is just that it was not recorded. Faith to humanity restored? We think so.
The winning comment probably came from a netizen who compared these two vigilantes to the Power Rangers who save the world from monsters.

It seems that not all heroes wear capes. Some ride on two wheels with a green pack behind them. Once again we give another kudos to the amazing food delivery riders who risk their lives in the traffic everyday to bring us the convenience of having our meals at our doorsteps. Some simply go further to beat national disaster with a simple act of kindness. — Focus Malaysia
