KUALA LUMPUR: Two men have been arrested following a house burglary at Jalan Pekan Baru, Taman Eng Ann, Klang, which was captured in a video that went viral.
Klang Utara police chief ACP Vijaya Rao Samachulu said they received a report at about 3.15am from a woman who claimed she heard suspicious noises and saw that her neighbour's gate had been broken into.
"Following the report, a team was dispatched to the scene and arrested two men who were attempting to escape through the back gate," he said in a statement.
The suspects have been remanded for five days until Jan 6 to assist investigations under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
Vijaya urged the public not to speculate on the case, saying investigations are ongoing. - NST
