PETALING JAYA: Former Attorney General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali (pic) has been appointed an Umno supreme council member.
He is one of the 11 appointed supreme council members.
Others include former Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman and former Deputy Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.
Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in a statement on Saturday (July 14) also announced the appointment of Tan Sri Annuar Musa as secretary-general while Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, the immediate past secretary-general, was appointed treasurer.
Other officer bearers are Datuk Shamsul Anuar Nasarah as the information chief and Datuk Mohd Sumali Reduan as executive chief.- Star
