Fugitive businessperson Low Taek Jho has left Macau and gone to an unknown destination.
This was confirmed by the Inspector-general of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun in a press conference at Bukit Aman today.
Fuzi said police have received an email from their Macau counterparts two days ago, which stated that Jho Low, who is wanted in Malaysia for the 1MDB funds scandal, had left the autonomous territory.
However, Fuzi said, the Macau police didn't disclose the date of Jho Low leaving the country.
