Newly-elected Umno supreme council holds first meeting

KUALA LUMPUR: The newly-elected Umno office bearers held their first supreme council meeting at the party's headquarters here on Wednesday (July 4).

.The meeting started with the swearing in of all office bearers led by party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The top echelon in the party, including deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan and the three vice-presidents Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid and Datuk Khalid Nordin were at the meeting.

Among the agenda deliberated were the appointment of party secretary-general, executive secretary, treasurer and five nominated supreme council members.- Star
