WHO ELSE CAN SAVE NAJIB NOW? EX-PM LEAVES HOME FOR UNKNOWN DESTINATION 5 MINUTES AFTER ZAHID, OTHER UMNO VISITORS DEPART

Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak left his home in Jalan Langgak Duta at about 8.50pm tonight.
He was seen leaving in a Toyota Vellfire, and was accompanied by police outriders and several other vehicles. However, his destination is uncertain.
Najib left five minutes after an entourage of Umno visitors, including president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, departed at about 8.45pm.
Najib was arrested by the MACC yesterday, and was held overnight in lockup at the commission’s headquarters.
He was released this evening after claiming trial to four charges and posting half of the RM1 million bail. Part of his bail agreement was that he would surrender his two passports.
Najib had been slapped with one count of abusing his power as a public servant to receive gratification amounting to RM42 million.
He also faces three counts of criminal breach of trust over the same matter.
For each charge, he can be jailed for up to 20 years. – MKINI

Zahid, Umno leaders visit Najib at Langgak Duta home

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has appeared at former premier Najib Abdul Razak’s residence in Jalan Langgak Duta, hours after the latter was charged with criminal breach of trust (CBT) and graft, at the Jalan Duta court in Kuala Lumpur.
A black Toyota Vellfire carrying Zahid was seen entering Najib’s house, about 7.15pm.
Zahid himself was questioned by the MACC on Monday and yesterday, regarding funds from a foundation run by his family used to pay his credit card bills.
Zahid had told investigators that one of his officers had “mistakenly” made the payment, and that he had used his own money to refund the used money from the foundation.
Earlier, about 6.50pm, several luxury cars were also seen entering the compound of Najib’s residence.
Najib was earlier today charged with three counts of CBT and a fourth count of abuse of power, in regards to the RM42 million payment which purportedly went into Ambank account from SRC International.
The former Umno president claimed trial to all charges and was let off on an RM1 million bail by the court, which also ordered him to surrender both of his passports.
