Former PKR women's chief Haniza Talha won an RM1 million cash prize from BSN.
The prize was part of the June lucky draw for BSN's premium savings certificate (SSP) holders and it was announced on BSN's Facebook page on July 4.
A separate posting by the Penggerak Komuniti Negara P109 Kapar on July 8 showed Haniza receiving a mock cheque at BSN's main Selangor branch in Shah Alam.
Malaysiakini has contacted the Lembah Jaya assemblyperson for comment.
Besides the RM1 million special draw prize, BSN also awarded a BMW X1 sDrive20i Sport SUV as the main prize, a Proton X70 as a special loyalty prize, and various other cash prizes.
Haniza had been sacked from PKR on June 28.
She was a staunch supporter of former PKR deputy president Azmin Ali.
Her new NGO, Nation of Women, is speculated to be the precursor of a women's wing for a new party to be set up by Azmin. - Mkini
