GRS to form committees to check on drastic increase in voters

 

GRS chairman Hajiji Noor said the party machinery would find out whether the registered voters were residents.

KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) will form a special committee in all districts to check the claim of a drastic increase in the number of voters in the state.

Chief minister Hajiji Noor, who is also GRS chairman, said these committees, made up of party members, would identify the registered voters.

“The party machinery knows who the voters are in their areas, whether they are residents or not.

“A report will then be compiled,” he told reporters after launching the Sayang brand cooking oil manufactured by Sawit Kinabalu Sdn Bhd here.
