SMEs to benefit from digital marketing event

PETALING JAYA: Dattel Asia Group and REV Media Group (RMG) are collaborating to organise OHSEM ADS 2022, an event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to learn about the advantages of advertising on REV Media Network with the power of consumer data.

Set to take place on Nov 3 at Mines 2, Seri Kembangan, the event is expected to attract up to 3,000 business owners and marketers looking to maximise their returns on investment (ROI) from their ad spending.

The best practices of digital marketing mix comprise social media, search engine optimisation, Google ads and premium content publishers.

However, most SMEs can only afford social media marketing due to its low price entry point.

RMG also revealed the three key reasons why SMEs do not include premium content publishing networks in their digital marketing mix:

  • It is perceived as expensive and beyond their price range.
  • They are unsure of the efficacy of such premium content platforms despite large brands already using them.
  • They are unsure of how and who to connect with if they are interested.

OHSEM ADS 2022 aims to address the three main concerns by educating SMEs on the power of premium content on publishing networks and the value it brings.

One such network is REV Media Network, which attracts 15.8 million monthly unique visitors, more than Facebook or Google in Malaysia.

In fact, the network is home to sites you are probably familiar with, including Free Malaysia Today, SAYS, Mashable Southeast Asia and more.

During the event, SMEs will be able to learn from examples of effective advertising on REV Media Network, while taking advantage of exclusive OHSEM advertising rates.

Catered to SMEs, the exclusive rates will enable them to test out the efficacy of a premium content publishing network for themselves.

In other words, SMEs now have more affordable options to reach their intended audience with their products and services.

Also supporting the event are Strategic Partners EasyStore and unifi Business Club, Financing Partner Myisco and Dreamtalents Media as the Official Digital Agency.

SMEs will also be able to advance their marketing and advertising ability via REV Ad Manager (RAM), which will create consumer personas using consumer behaviour data, including segmentations by 30 behaviour archetypes and 12 value traits of consumers.

The platform can generate more than 103,000 consumer personas, covering 174 product and service categories.

With OHSEM ADS 2022, RMG and Dattel aim to make RAM available to all attending SMEs.

The first collaboration between RMG and Dattel was in March 2022, as they jointly launched RAM, the first AI-powered self-serve advertising platform for local publishers.

The platform harnesses an innovative approach to advertising by using consumer behaviour data to recommend the best REV sites for the merchants’ advertising target audience.

Since its launch, more than 100 companies, ranging from SME businesses to large brands in retail, fashion and healthcare, have accessed RAM and its features.
