
Other stars such as Estevao Willian, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, Wesley Fofana, and Romeo Lavia will also be in action for the Blues at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium next weekend.
In announcing the squad, Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso said the team looks forward to returning to Malaysia, acknowledging the large number of Chelsea supporters in the country.
“I know that in Malaysia they have a big crowd and great support. We are looking forward to visiting Johor.
“Wherever we go in the world we see the support and passion for Chelsea, the fans make great effort to watch the games and we really appreciate that,” he said in a press release issued by TEG Sport.
Malaysia is Chelsea’s final stop on its five-match Asia-Pacific pre-season tour, after Sydney, Hong Kong and Indonesia. This will be the West London club’s first time playing at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, the home ground of JDT.
The match kicks off at 8pm with ticket prices starting from RM154.
