KUALA SELANGOR: A 56-year-old man was found dead inside a locked car parked outside a convenience store in Jalan Alam Suria, Bandar Puncak Alam, here today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department in assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Asbar said four personnel from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) were dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call at 11.30am.

"Upon arrival, the car door had already been opened by members of the public.

"The victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel from Hospital Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam," he said in a statement.

The body was later handed over to police for further action. - NST
