PETALING JAYA: DAP will contest in eight parliamentary and 19 state assembly seats in Perak at the general election.
Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming will seek a second term in the Teluk Intan parliamentary seat and also contest the Kepayang state seat.
National vice-chairman M Kula Segaran will seek a sixth term in Ipoh Barat.
DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook said Wong Kah Woh will contest Taiping instead of Ipoh Timor and Howard Lee will be fielded there instead.
Ngeh Koo Ham will seek re-election in Beruas.
DAP’s other candidates for parliamentary seats are Ahmad Tarmizi (Gerik), Chong Zhemin (Kampar) and Sivakumar Naidu (Batu Gajah).
The eight seats are one more than DAP contested in the state in 2018.
