PETALING JAYA: The Football Association of Malaysia has confirmed that work visas for several of Kelantan Darul Naim (KDN) FC’s foreign footballers have been approved.
FAM secretary-general Noor Azman Rahman told FMT that he had received the details from league officials, and a statement would be made by KDN FC soon.
Noor Azman’s statement came in response to a complaint posted on social media alleging that the players had not been able to obtain their visas for six months and could be regarded as undocumented migrants.
The complainant, who goes by the user name “leo_jeong10”, also said the players could not take a flight for a match at the weekend as they lacked proper visas.
He said he had been working as an agent for players for 15 years and faced problems only with teams in the Super League, which he described as the “worst league ever”. - FMT
