PUTRAJAYA: Nur Habibah Najwa Abidin, 36, recounted hearing a mysterious roar outside her home in Presint 9, Putrajaya, which she shared on TikTok.
She said the video was captured last Saturday at 7.19pm on the home closed-circuit television (CCTV).
"I had just arrived at the lobby and was sitting with my three children while waiting for my husband to park and return," she said.
She described hearing the roar after a lightning strike and said her children also heard it.
Her husband initially thought it was a motorcycle, but the CCTV footage confirmed the sound was loud and clear.
Nur Habibah Najwa also showed the video to neighbours, some who were equally startled by the mysterious sound.
She compared the sound to a 'dinosaur or tiger but louder' and more terrifying.
Sharing it on TikTok, she said her aim was to find answers.
Some viewers suggested the sound was from a siren or building alarm, while one viewer suggested a scientific explanation.
"There could be some truth to it, but so far, there is no definitive answer," said Nur Habibah Najwa, who makes a living baking cakes. - NST
