Inspector-General of Police Khalid Ismail says the matter 'remains under our attention and action'.

Khalid said while the case was “rather sensitive to discuss”, Malaysian police are maintaining good relations with the relevant countries to facilitate the investigations.
“We are still pursuing action as before and maintaining good relations with the countries concerned. The matter remains under our attention and action,” Bernama reported him as saying.
Low faces multiple charges, including corruption and money laundering, in the US and Malaysia over the key role he allegedly played in the misappropriation of at least US$4.5 billion (RM17.69 billion) from 1MDB.
He has consistently denied wrongdoing and his whereabouts are unknown.
The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that Low recently filed a request for a pardon that, if granted, would remove US criminal charges against him.
Earlier today, 1MDB task force chairman Johari Ghani said Low should not be pardoned and that the US should assist Malaysia in locating him.
The task force led by Johari was set up to recover funds and assets linked to 1MDB worldwide.
Johari also said he was unaware of any discussions between Low and the Malaysian government regarding the return of assets. - FMT
