Annuar Musa suggests all opposition entities, including Muhyiddin Yassin's IPR and Hamzah Zainudin's Reset movement, put aside their differences for a greater agenda.

In a statement, Annuar said they all shared common ground despite their differences and strife among some opposition parties.
He noted that Rafizi and fellow PKR MP Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad were set to announce their new “political direction” on Sunday, while opposition leader Hamzah Zainudin had launched his Reset movement following his sacking from Bersatu in February.
Annuar said there was also Muhyiddin Yassin’s Ikatan Prihatin Rakyat, a loose opposition pact which includes Perikatan Nasional components as well as others outside the coalition such as Berjasa, Pejuang, Muda and Urimai.
“(Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s) Malay secretariat committee was formed to work towards Malay unity. Umno has also been talking about Malay unity often. PN wants to unite the ummah.
“I suggest that all of us come together and carve out a new roadmap for this country,” said Annuar, the former Umno secretary-general.
The former Ketereh MP added that they should all put aside their differences for a greater agenda, namely to offer Malaysians a new hope on the country’s direction.
Hamzah and Muhyiddin have been engaged in a bitter feud ever since their leadership tussle in Bersatu, which culminated in Hamzah being sacked from the party.
On the other hand, Rafizi has been at odds with the PKR leadership and government after he lost the PKR deputy presidency and stepped down as economy minister last year.
Umno and PAS meanwhile remain rivals despite their past Muafakat Nasional (MN) pact, which fell apart after the Islamic party formed PN with Bersatu.
Umno accused PAS of betraying their pact while PAS had insisted on roping Bersatu into the MN alliance as part of “uniting the ummah”.
After the 2022 general election ended in a hung Parliament, Umno led Barisan Nasional in backing Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to form the unity government. - FMT
