Separately, shuttle trains between Ampang LRT Station and Pandan Jaya LRT Station are operating from Platform 1 at a five-minute interval.

Meanwhile, services from the Putra Heights LRT Station will terminate at the Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT Station, with trains arriving every four minutes.

Free shuttle bus services have also been deployed at the Hang Tuah, Chan Sow Lin, Maluri, and Pandan Jaya LRT stations.

These buses operate at frequencies of between 15 and 20 minutes, subject to traffic conditions.

Earlier this morning, an Ampang/Sri Petaling Line train derailed while passing through a track switch at the Chan Sow Lin Station, causing widespread service disruptions.

Rapid KL confirmed that all 25 passengers on board were safely evacuated, with no injuries reported.

The rail operator also confirmed the authenticity of the incident photos and videos currently circulating on social media, which showed commuters walking along the tracks during the evacuation. - NST
