The chapter's chairman, Aminuddin Harun, says up to five names have been suggested for each of the 16 seats the party is looking to contest.

Negeri Sembilan PKR chairman Aminuddin Harun said the list comprised women, young candidates and experienced contenders, and included up to five names for each seat.
The state Pakatan Harapan chairman expressed confidence the state DAP and Amanah chapters had also submitted their list of candidates to their parties’ central leadership for consideration.
“We will coordinate with the other PH parties and we are looking for a suitable date to announce the candidates,” he told reporters after presenting a RM415,000 grant for Orang Asli village activities in the state.
On June 13, Aminuddin, who is also the caretaker menteri besar, said PKR would be allowed to contest 16 of the 36 seats in the Aug 1 state election.
DAP will field candidates in 11 seats while Amanah will contest the remaining nine.
Nomination day is on July 18, with early voting set for July 28. - FMT
