Pakatan Harapan will seek cooperation with BN for the upcoming Malacca state election, according to Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
The Harapan secretary-general was quoted as saying that he plans to visit Malacca BN chief and Chief Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh after the latter returns from a working visit to New Zealand, and might approach him with the discussion then.

Malacca BN chief Ab Rauf Yusoh "If I go to Malacca, I have to stop by his house and have Mak Leha’s asam pedas with him. So, we are always in touch.
"During our conversations, we discuss various matters. As the Malacca election is approaching, we may broach the subject," Bernama reported Saifuddin as saying.
In an immediate response, Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh, who is also the Merlimau assemblyperson, said he would rather sit out the state election if BN enters a pact with Harapan.
