NAJIB & HIS SECRET SERVICE CHIEF TO BE PROBED FOR TREASON NEXT? ARMY VETERANS DEMAND ACTION FROM DR M, ACCUSE NAJIB & HIS SPIES OF LEAKING NATIONAL SECURITY INFO TO THE CIA, EVEN WHILE PLAYING A DOUBLE-CROSSING GAME WITH CHINA

A LETTER allegedly sent by the former Najib administration’s intelligence unit to the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is treacherous and treasonous, said Persatuan Patriot Kebangsaan (Patriot).
This is because the unit’s former director-general Hasanah Ab Hamid had asked the US to support the Najib administration in the event that the results of the 14th general election turned out to be close.
Patriot president Brig-Gen (rtd) Mohamed Arshad Raji said the letter, dated five days before the May 9 elections, also discussed internal security and foreign policy matters that should not have been shared with another country.
In the letter addressed to the CIA director Gina Haspel, Hasanah also accused Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who was leading the Pakatan Harapan coalition into GE14, as being anti-West, anti-Semite, autocratic and one who uses force to silence dissent.
PH defeated Najib Razak’s Barisan Nasional in the historic polls, putting a new government in power for the first time since Merdeka.
“Criticising a political opponent as anti-West, anti-Semite and autocratic to pander for favour is despicable, shameful and tramples the art of foreign relation to a gutter level.
“Only a leader and a government lacking all good qualities of leadership and good governance would stoop so low,” Arshad said in a statement today.
He said it also appeared that the Najib government pandered to both China and the US in their conflict here when the letter stated that it welcomed US presence in the region.
“On the one hand, we gave tacit support for China’s dominance in the South China Sea and on the other, covertly informed that our country was pro-US and supported American presence in the region,” Arshad said.
Within hours of the letter being published here, former prime minister Najib denied any knowledge of it, adding he was “surprised” and “did not know of its existence” because not all letters had to go through him.
Arshad said the authorities here should launch an immediate investigation into the so-called intelligence unit and the officials concerned.
“All guilty persons should be seriously punished and set an example to all current officials in the government, security forces personnel, and politicians, that such collusion with any foreign officials or government is considered treason.”
The spotlight fell on Hasanah after GE14 when it was revealed that she led a top-secret intelligence agency which reported only to Najib.
It was then reported that Malaysian police, investigating the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB scandal), raided Hasanah’s home in Kuala Lumpur, in search of documents which Najib handed to her prior to GE14.
The search at her home turned up empty but investigators later raided what was believed to be a safe-house in Putrajaya and carted away box loads of documents.
It was also reported that the intelligence unit will soon undergo a revamp with a new chief at its helm.
