Zahid Hamidi and his UMNO assured 200,000 people while Hadi and his PAS assured 300,000 people, BUT the actual turnout was between 55,000 to 80,000 people.
The NUMBERS should be a great shame to these leaders and their parties.
As informed earlier, our PH federal government will not be ratifying to the ICERD Treaty. There was no reason to gather people in these numbers, while creating a temporary "shutdown" of businesses in Kuala Lumpur.
Obviously, so much of monies must be spent for this few hours of holding this rally. There are so many Malays in need of money since the new school term is beginning soon. There are so many single mothers, mostly from the Malay community who are unable to meet their daily needs. Monies could have been spent wisely to these deserving groups.
Whatever said it is not going to change the situation. The rally did not achieve any purpose.
