At Bersatu AGM, delegate calls for Dr M to stay PM until GE15

A promise made must be a promise kept and always honored under whatever circumstances.

Tun Dr Mahathir had clearly expressed that he will be Prime Minister for two (2) years only and will hand over the Prime Minister's post to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of Parti Keadilan Rakyat, to succeed him.

The usual saying always used by Tun Dr Mahathir, " Melayu Muda Lupa" cannot be taken lightly.

It would be in the best interest of Tun Dr Mahathir to have a good rest after his tenure of two (2) years. Tun Dr Mahathir still remains as a Member of Parliament for Langkawi.

It is not correct for the Bersatu delegates to express their feelings on Tun Dr Mahathir to stay on until GE 15. Bersatu should strike to excel itself even if Tun Dr Mahathir does not helm the party. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
