KUALA LUMPUR – With not so much as a goodbye or a parting statement, Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing is no longer on Twitter.
While he was still active just this morning, searching for his profile now returns a simple Twitter message of “user not found” and that the page does not exist.
The philantropist and founder of the Limkokwing University today found himself on the receiving end of Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir’s criticism.
He was told to stop it after he posted a tweet applauding a message by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Marina claimed Lim had snuck into their house during Hari Raya to apologise, presumably to Dr Mahathir.
Lim offered no rebuttal to the claim, instead it would appear that he opted to deactivate his account.
