UMNO had violated its own Party Constitution by not holding its general assembly after been granted a further extension of a year as provided for by its Party Constitution.
UMNO leaders and members should be blamed for this deregistration for not addressing this violation by its Party leaders.
Visiting Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to seek his assistance not to deregister UMNO should never arise.
Everyone and every institution need to obey the Rule of Law.
The Registrar of Societies has no option but to de-register UMNO immediately.
