GEORGE TOWN: A brother is appealing for help to look for his missing sister who was last seen at their mother's house in Batu Ferringhi last Monday (July 15).
S. Anthony Savari said his sister, Cecil, who is in her 50s, suffers from schizophrenia.
He said he had not seen her since they last met at their mother's house at about 5pm on July 15.
"She usually takes the bus around Penang or to Ipoh or Taiping on her own and will not be out for long – a day or so at the most.
"This time, she took her ATM card and identification card but left her mobile phone at home. She has never been away for this long before," said Anthony, 46.
He said the family had tried looking for Cecil and had been showing her photo to locals asking if they had seen her.
"Some told me they saw her in Tanjong Bungah waiting to take a bus towards the Pengkalan Raja Tun Uda ferry terminal.
"Besides that, we have no further information," he added.
Anthony lodged a police report on Thursday (July 18) over here disappearance.- Star
