PETALING JAYA: Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah has expressed excitement over the upcoming installation ceremony of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah on July 30.
Tunku Azizah posted pictures of herself and Sultan Abdullah in royal attire on Twitter, which captured the eyes and hearts of many.
She also posted a picture of her father, Almarhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar ibni Almarhum Sultan Ismail, in royal attire.
"A picture of my father wearing the muskat (coat), borrowed from my father-in-law Almarhum Sultan Ahmad Shah; the only muskat worn by two kings for their installation ceremony!
"Handsome-lah my father!" she captioned her picture.
Tunku Azizah is the fifth Tengku Ampuan Pahang of the modern Pahang sultanate.
Tunku Azizah, who was born on August 5, 1960, is the fourth child of Johor's Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Ibni Almarhum Sultan Ismail and Enche' Besar Hajah Kalsom Abdullah.
She married Sultan Abdullah, who was then the Tengku Mahkota Pahang on March 6, 1986.
July 30 had been declared a public holiday in conjunction with the installation of the King.
