GOMBAK: Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari and former PKR vice-president Azmin Ali have arrived at the nomination centre for the Gombak seat, just a few minutes apart from one another.
Azmin, a Bersatu Supreme Council member, arrived at 8.40am with over 100 supporters in tow. He is seeking to defend his Gombak seat for a fourth term.
Meanwhile, this will be Amirudin’s first time challenging for a parliamentary seat.
The Selangor PKR chief, who used to be closely linked to Azmin prior to the latter’s departure from PKR in February 2020, arrived at the nomination centre at 8.35am with over 100 supporters.
The PKR man was accompanied by chants of “Reformasi” from supporters as they headed to the nomination centre. - FMT
