KUALA LUMPUR: Leaders from Barisan Nasional (BN) are arriving at Menara Dato Onn at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur here for another round of meetings tonight.
Among the leaders seen attending the meeting were MCA president Wee Ka Siong, BN treasurer-general Hishammuddin Hussein, Tanjung Piai MP Wee Jeck Seng, Cameron Highlands MP Ramli Mohd Nor and Sabah BN chief Bung Moktar Radin.
Hishammuddin told the media that there would be two meetings tonight, one with the BN Supreme Council, and another with MPs.
When asked by the media if he would be backing Perikatan Nasional chairman Muhyiddin Yassin for the prime minister’s post, the Sembrong MP maintained that BN’s support would be en bloc.
“It’s a party decision,” he said.
All 30 BN MPs are set to meet the King at 10.30am tomorrow at Istana Negara. - FMT
