Wong Chen claims selective block on MyKhas access amid growing PKR–Bersama tensions

ON May 22, 2026, PKR Subang MP Wong Chen issued a press statement denouncing the sudden denial of access to his parliamentary office’s MyKhas Portal account, a platform managed by the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) under the Prime Minister’s Department.

The disruption, discovered on May 20 when staff attempted to upload Projek Mesra Rakyat funding applications, was reportedly ordered by superiors in Putrajaya.

Despite immediate follow‑up via email and hand‑delivered letters to ICU Selangor and Putrajaya, access remains blocked with no written explanation.

Wong highlighted that other Selangor PKR MPs retain full access, raising concerns of selective treatment. He stressed that his office has long been recognised for professional management and transparent publication of constituency accounts.

The denial disrupts welfare initiatives and undermines his staff’s reputation. He demanded immediate restoration of access and a formal explanation, warning that such selective administrative actions reflect poor governance and contradict Madani principles.

However, he did not mention his presence at the launch of the Parti Bersama Malaysia and ignored the fact that party members are asking MPs who back former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli to quit PKR.

One can only guess whether his relationship with Rafizi has anything to do with the denial of access to his parliamentary office’s MyKhas Portal account.

But netizens are quick to comment that Wong has to decide whether he is still a PKR MP or is a supporter of Bersama.

Latiff Danial Ismail said: “Oh, I just found out there’s such assistance. Because at the Bersama event, it looked like they wanted to get rid of you… That’s why the Subang parliamentary seat should be handed over to DAP, not PKR. Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan and Michelle Ng Mei Sze did a great job for Subang Jaya.”

Another user on Facebook did not mince their words. They believe the MP has to decide either to ‘betray’ their leader or enjoy the fact that such funds are given to them by the leader.

Nik Muhammad Hafizie: “You still have a boss, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim… when it’s time to betray, you forget your boss… but when you need assistance, suddenly you remember you have a boss… let other constituencies help Subang instead… before this, you also disappeared who knows where…”

Ammirul Mohammad said the MP backed the ‘Kancil’, which is the logo of the Bersama party. Now he has to decide and do the right thing.

“U angkat itu kancil, itu pasal kena block. Now u decide la. The ball is in your court. Be a man! Do the right thing!”

One can think that pressure will surely mount on the MPs who were present at the launch of Bersama. The question is whether PKR will sack the MPs this time or let the situation rot as it has since last year?
