The case is being investigated for offences such as voluntarily causing hurt and criminal intimidation.

The four suspects, aged between 30 and 34, were detained at 1.30am following reports lodged by two other foreign women believed to be their former domestic workers, reported Harian Metro.
The two foreign women, who had been sought by police earlier along with another domestic worker featured in a viral video, lodged their reports at the Johor Bahru Selatan and Johor Bahru Utara police headquarters yesterday after being brought from Kuala Lumpur by officials from the Indonesian embassy.
Lawyer Daud Ismail, who is representing the embassy, said he held a watching brief when the remand application was made for the two couples at the Johor Bahru magistrates’ court this morning.
He said magistrate Chai Ing Hien granted a four-day remand order for the suspects effective today.
The case is being investigated for voluntarily causing hurt, criminal intimidation, use of criminal force to outrage a person’s modesty, improper use of network facilities, and unlawfully retaining another person’s passport.
On Monday, the Indonesian consulate-general in Johor Bahru said it was providing two Indonesian domestic workers temporary shelter after their alleged abuse by their employers.
A consulate spokesman said it was informed of the case on June 13 by an Indonesian national identified as YY, who reported alleged physical abuse against herself and two others, identified as YA and SH.
The alleged abuse was believed to have taken place in late 2025 and January this year. - FMT
