KULAI: A viral video allegedly showing a heated altercation involving a married couple at a fast-food restaurant near Senai International Airport has drawn concern from social media users, with many urging relevant parties to look into the matter.

The user alleged that the man shouted at the woman and appeared to threaten violence.

"You can imagine your wife is at work, and you come shouting in front of her workplace, ordering her to go home and look after the child.

"I witnessed everything because my car was parked right beside them. The man even appeared ready to raise his hand and hit his wife and child," the user claimed.

The post has since gained traction, with many users expressing concern over the safety and welfare of the woman and child.

Some commenters urged family members or relatives who may recognise those involved to step forward and offer assistance.

"If any family members or relatives of this woman see this video, please save her and her child. Keep them away from individuals with a quick temper," one user wrote.

When contacted, Kulai district police chief Assistant Commissioner Tan Seng Lee said no police report had been lodged over the alleged incident.

It remains unclear when the incident occurred or whether further action will be taken. - NST
