The university says the Subang Jaya police headquarters have confirmed that it is safe for the campus to resume operations.

The university said that following a comprehensive security check, the Subang Jaya police headquarters confirmed the situation was clear and that the campus could safely resume operations today.
“The Monash Clinical School Johor Bahru will remain closed until further notice,” it said in a statement.
Last night, the Monash University Student Association directed all students to evacuate the campus immediately due to an “emergency situation”.
The group said the campus would be closed for about five hours while emergency response teams and university management addressed the situation.
“Please leave the campus promptly and do not attempt to re-enter any buildings until an official all-clear notice has been issued,” it said in an Instagram post, which has since been deleted. - FMT
