At least eight Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers descended on Jalan Gurney in Kuala Lumpur for a raid on the Felda office there.
The officers, who arrived about 10.20am, are believed to be investigating the purchase of a four-star hotel in Kensington, London, by Felda Investment Corporation (FIC) between 2013 and 2015.
MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad last week ordered for the investigation into the hotel purchase to be re-opened after the graftbusters received new information on the case.
This comes after the commission initially cleared the FIC of any wrongdoing pertaining to the transaction made in May 2015.
During the initial investigation in 2015, then Felda chairperson Isa Samad’s son was called in for questioning over the RM330 million purchase of the Grand Plaza Kensington, now renamed Park City Hotel.
