11 weeks on, still no decrease in petrol prices, RON95 and RON97 petrol will see an increase of one and four sen respectively

Eleven weeks have passed yet a decrease in prices of petrol is nowhere in sight.
After last week’s increase, petrol prices are set to further increase for the third consecutive week, according to an announcement by the Domestic Trade, Co-Operatives and Consumerism Ministry.
RON95 and RON97 petrol will see an increase of one and four sen respectively, bringing the new prices to RM2.21 and RM2.52 per litre.
And unlike the one sen increase last week, diesel will now see an increase of nine sen, bringing the new price to RM2.14 per litre.

Petrol prices had climbed steadily since July 27, with the exception for the week of August 17 to 24 where prices remained unchanged. - Mkini
