NURUL Izzah Anwar could be barred from entering Sarawak after two PKR MPs, Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin and Petaling Jaya Selatan MP Hee Loy Sian, were denied entry when they landed in Miri at 2pm today.
PKR Sarawak chief Baru Bian says he won’t be surprised if Nurul, who is PKR vice-president and Lembah Pantai MP, is barred when she arrives in Miri about 7pm tonight.
“I won’t be surprised if she is also barred from entering,” Baru said.
However, Kuala Sepetang assemblyman Chua Chee Ling, who flew on the same flight as Zuraida and Hee, was allowed in.
The PKR lawmakers are converging in Miri for the Diamond fund raising dinner tonight and the Purple Women’s Walk – a walk to protest against toxic politics – tomorrow morning.
