SHAH ALAM: The semi-nude body of a single mother, who is believed to have been bludgeoned, was found under an overhead bridge in front of a school in Klang this morning.
A passer-by who stumbled on the body at 7.41am in front of Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Jawa 2 alerted the police.
The police have detained a 54-year-old man to facilitate investigations into the murder.
Klang (South) police chief ACP Shamsul Amar Ramli said the 37-year-old victim had bruises above the right eye and a bump on the forehead.
“The woman was probably killed elsewhere before her body was dumped in the area,” he said in a statement here.
He said initial investigations revealed that the victim had previously been arrested for a drug-related offence and her two children, aged 10 and 15, were under the care of a sibling in Shah Alam. - FMT
