PETALING JAYA – Former minister in the prime minister’s department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said a “historical event” was about to take place in Kuala Lumpur.
However, he said he was not personally involved and was only a “spectator”.
It has been reported earlier that Umno leaders from the northern region would quit the party en bloc, following the footsteps of Sabah.
When contacted by Sin Chew Daily, Shahidan declined to comment on whether he would be one of them.
He nevertheless said he was currently in the capital city and was prepared to witness a historical event that could happen in the blink of an eye, like a “magic”.
He declined to reveal further details.
