Temple riot: Four men remanded over attack on firefighter

The Magistrate’s Court in Petaling Jaya today issued a four-day remand order against four men to assist police probe in an attack on firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim during a fracas at the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Subang Jaya last week.

The order was issued by magistrate Mohd Nor Hafidzuddin Yusoff to facilitate the police investigation under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder.

Muhammad Adib was seriously injured in the incident and reported still in critical condition, though stable, at the National Heart Institute.
