JOHOR BARU: Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim (pic) has revealed that there is a move from an individual to topple Datuk Osman Sapian as the Mentri Besar.
“You are not even the Prime Minister. What makes you think by trying to lobby having an MB who will be your puppet, you can control Johor?
“You lobbying for one of our exco to be MB. We know that. This is not 1992 anymore, my friend,” he tweeted on his official Twitter account yesterday.
Tunku Ismail pointed out that Johor still had a ruling Sultan.
Recently, Bersatu supreme council member Datuk A. Kadir Jasin said if the Pakatan Harapan state government approved the deal, then it was no better than the previous government.
Tunku Ismail’s tweet comes just as the state Bersatu is having its convention today in Le Grandeur Palm Resort in Senai.
Party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is expected to open the convention. It will be attended by some 550 delegates from 26 divisions.
