Zahid slapped with one more CBT charge of RM10m

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today claimed trial to an additional charge for criminal breach of trust amounting to RM10 million.

He is accused of using Yayasan Akal Budi funds to give a loan of that amount to Armada Holdings Sdn Bhd.

The offence allegedly took place at Affin Bank's Jalan Bunus branch in Kuala Lumpur on Dec 8, 2015.

The charge was read out before Sessions Court judge Rozina Ayob.

This raises the total number of charges faced by the former deputy prime minister to 46.
