Schoolgirl bully videos not from Miri

MIRI: There are two videos that have been circulating widely concerning schoolgirls being bullied and assaulted, purportedly in boarding schools in Miri.
One shows a girl in white t-shirt being slapped and kicked by other girls while seated on her bed.
The other clip shows a girl in black t-shirt being beaten up inside a room by other girls.
The two videos have gone viral over the past two days, and people keep linking it to schools in Miri. This even prompted a parent in Sibu to ask The Star if this was happening in Miri.

The videos come in the wake of an earlier case in Miri, where five teenage boys were found to have beaten up a 13-year-old boy in a secondary school.

The bullies were arrested by Miri cops.
However, in the case of the girl bullies, Miri police Chief Asst Comm Lim Meng Seah said the videos were not linked to Miri schools.
A source involved in the investigation also said the cases were not from Miri.
"Claims that the schoolgirls bully cases happened in Miri are not true. Those who spread such videos are circulating fake news," the source said.- Star
