SEPANG: Umno Supreme Council member Lokman Noor Adam says he will bring the gay sex videos allegedly implicating Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali to be studied by a forensic analyst company based in Jakarta.
He said the company would conduct the analysis based on requests by the Indonesian authorities.
“As I am not the owner of the videos, I cannot disclose the name of the company,” he told reporters at klia2 before boarding his flight to Jakarta.
“We hope the results will be out within two days,” he said, adding that the company would issue a certificate to determine the authenticity of the videos in question.
Former Santubong PKR Youth leader Haziq Aziz had claimed to be one of the men in the clips, recorded at a hotel in Sandakan in May.
He also named Azmin as the other person in the videos. Azmin has strongly denied the claim.
Lokman said once he has obtained the report on the clips, he will submit copies to opposition leader Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Abdul Hamid Bador.
“I am disappointed with the IGP’s statement two days ago saying they are focusing on who recorded and spread the video, not who is allegedly involved,” he added.
“Our former IGP, Musa Hassan, had said Haziq’s confession is enough for prosecution under Section 377B of the Penal Code for unnatural sex.”
He also asked why the police had not sent the videos for analysis by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission. - FMT
