Heavy rain, strong winds expected in several states

KUALA LUMPUR: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in several states until 1pm today, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

In a statement, MetMalaysia said Klang, Petaling, Kuala Langat and Sepang will be among the areas in Selangor affected.

In Negeri Sembilan, the areas expected to be affected are Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, Rembau and Tampin.

In Johor, bad weather is predicted for Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Mersing, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru.

Thunderstorms are also expected in Putrajaya and Melaka. - FMT
