COVID-19 | The Health Ministry said 2,913 new daily Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, bringing the total cumulative cases to 4,902,964.
Active cases currently stood at 31,436, up 34.2 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Negeri Sembilan (155)
Penang (140)
Sabah (134)
Kelantan (116)
Kedah (100)
Putrajaya (63)
Johor (59)
Malacca (57)
Pahang (43)

Labuan (1)
Another nine deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which one was declared as "brought in dead".
These deaths were reported in Negeri Sembilan (3), Johor (2), Selangor (2), Kedah (1) and Pahang (1).
There were 101 deaths reported last month and 158 deaths in September.
There are 1,407 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 56 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (113) followed by Sabah (70) and Johor (68).- Mkini
